I enjoy watching, with gesticulations, grimaces, etc. Always informative, and a nice break in reading the amount of horrifying articles I read every week. And... lately, promotional consideration paid by Kahlua? Black Russian Revolution?
Just wrote this in the comments attached to a Bernie online fundraiser: "Start calling it FASCISM and calling for millions to take to the streets and the public squares to bring this nation to a standstill and cause a political crisis that leads to the removal of the Trump fascist regime and I'll send you a few bucks. Keep saying just oligarchy and billionaire rule (which we've had forever) and calling for milquetoast shit like Town Halls, major party voting and letters to our congresspersons and I'll see you as an obsolete and worn out joke who is just sheep-dogging for a Weimar Party. For crying out loud, Bernie, have you ever once, even just once, encouraged one of your big crowds to engage in mass direct action? Hello? Do you know what time it is?! And BTW "authoritarianism" is accurate (so is oligarchy and billionaire class rule and kleptocracy) but inadequate. It's fascism, Berndog. fascism. Say it with the class please. Let's go: : F..A..S..C....you finish the word; you can do it!"
Just to be clear, as with the music I occasionally put up, the videos I do work for some folks and not for others. Most of my videos here are semi-formal, me working off some notes I've handwritten and talking about something I think matters but which I frankly don't have time or energy to do a polished essay about. Back when I used to teach American and Chicago history, this was how I tended to proceed, talking for 25-30 minutes and then opening up the second half of class for discussion. This is one of three or four speaking modes I engage in. This is sort of me at the head of class that meets twice a week. Invited lecture me is me reading from a written speech with a very different rhythm and of course a formal feel. Agitator speech is different altogether. And then there's different in-between versions of all this. If you don't want to listen to me talk and watch me laugh, grimace, and gesticulate for this long just read the transcript. The transcript function here is pretty decent; makes some funny mistakes but is for the most part quite reliable.
100%, spot on! soo many so-called radicals still crying "liberals", "oligarchy", "a pox on both their houses", while fascism stares them square in the face!
No problem with these presentations not being polished...they are truthful and heartfelt and accessible (and full of facts I've forgotten about) as if we walking the line with you and pasing out leaflets while engaging all who would listen. Sounds like someone needs to challenge Bernie at these speeches to call this fascism for what it is--not to rescue him, but to get his followers out of their chairs and into the streets.

Comcast is the owner of NBC.

Thanks. Btw I’ve been wondering g about Bernie. So puzzling. He only talks about oligarchy.
