I got to see the living legend John Fogerty sing this song 2 weeks ago, still got it at 79 yo! Fogerty is on tour because after more than 50 years he finally got the rights to CCR music back. Wish he had related it to current events but can't blame the guy after all the shit he has been through.
This CCR song should be required listening by any young person thinking about "fighting for my country".
"I ain't no senaror's son" - oh, so accurate. And nowadays the young people are asking "why are we fighting for a foreign country that is committing the worst genocide of the 21st century" And to top it off, the elites who are compromised by that foreign country are denegrating the young people's values and morality, and praising the genociders. We're living in an unside down world.
