I’m about half way through your very good book. It’s a really good read and definitely in the “another world is possible” section of my library! Thank you!

Currently, “This Happened Here”. Last year, your book on Occupy. I think you are doing the hard work of exorcising the specter in order to make revolution happen to paraphrase Derrida. Talking to our mutual friend from RF and RevCom, we cannot underestimate the importance of polemics/ call it what you will.

Love the photo with Paul Street’s post this week . I imagine this as being the poster for the Florida and Texas Concealed Carry Laws within a few years.

Instead of clips of heroic police state operatives charging into yet another mass shooting site, the media should start showing the bullet-riddled bodies of child gun violence victims. I'm thinking Emmett Till here. The cop action videos just fuel the police state fervor and advance the notion that the solution to bad gun violence is good gun violence. The police state is heavily invested in all the shootings. Sure, you hear police chiefs bemoaning all the loose guns out there and that hazards of that, but the fact is the police states loves it. They live for this shit. It gives their lives meaning. And it's money and power for the militarized police state.

So many sick fucks.

I'm observing the word -insane- more often in commentary and comments. That's the word of the year and maybe the decade.

Isn’t fascism when big business corporation partner with the government? Like private/public partnerships?

Please think about ordering this book. I get into what fascism is, both in its classic European phase and today. https://www.amazon.com/This-Happened-Here-Paul-Street/dp/1032150599

That would mean that the entire West was fascist from the rise of corporation capitalism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries through the present. That renders the term utterly meaningless. It just equates fascism with state capitalism in the corporate age. Which is pretty ridiculous, right?
