Thanks for telling the history the empire doesnt want anyone to know. God help us all if Israel is dumb enough to put jackboots on the ground!

I fear that the current Israeli "leadership" might start believing their own lies, and might bless Mordechai Vanunu with an unwanted celebrity, by following the example of that other leading moral voice of the world, the United States, and dropping a nuclear bomb on people who need to be taught a lesson. And the U.S. would support them, in their defeat of the Palestinian "animals."

Trudeau wasted no time saying Canada backed Israel unconditionally (so war crime away as long as it keeps the Israel bloc on side of the Liberals).

Thank you for this tell-it-like-it-is perspective. I have lost Jewish friends for asking, “Haven’t the victims become the victimizers?” Reading the responses to what is happening in what used to be Palestine—which as a pacifist I do not condone—I have become enlightened about the human “need” to double down on a belief system based on emotion at best and propaganda at worst.

In my opinion, a lot has to happen before the American people can expect to live up to the claim of being a "democratic Republic" but a good start would be to appoint someone other than Jews to high office, since they can't seem to embrace the concept of 'national identity' and insist on having the benefits of "dual-citizenship", which allows them to satisfy their need to champion whatever their "home of choice", Israel, needs at the moment. Additionally we are way too comfortable allowing 'foreign lobbies' like AIPAC, to have such a tremendous effect on our Congressional critters and other high offices of "our" government and this is not to mention that our media is solidly for this rogue, apartheid state of Israel. Now with The government, the media, Hollywood and AIPAC all serving as handmaidens to Israel, what possible chance does any voice for the other side have?

It's not so much a a matter of Jews in high office, as high office. High office has to serve the needs of capitalism imperialism. And that is why the state of Israel itself was created, to serve the needs of US imperialism in the middle east. And that is the purpose of AIPAC. On other hand there are many Jews not in high office who are against the state of Israel.

Wait a minute. Did you mean list individuals? That's a taller order. Let me go get the phone book and start calling people at random.

Exactly the response I expected. The top guy in "our Senate, considers himself to be Israel's "shomer",(,protector) in the Senate and has so stated!! Care to count how many other Jews in both houses of Congress ,who are all for Israel, no matter what the cause? Do we send any member of either house to represent Israel? Well, except for Schumer who represents "Tel Aviv West" as NY is known? How long does any member of either house last if he's seen as less than supportive of Israel? There's reliable history on that question. VP Harris is married to one. Of course that doesn't mean that she can't be objective does it? Secretary of State Blinken occupies the highest office in the cabinet but I'm sure he's also objective as hell, right? And need I cover the media and its member's biases? TV "commentators and hosts" are also objective aren't they? It's all one-sided and there's no Palestinian representation anywhere, that can compare with the power of AIPAC.! I didn't ask for a list of Jews against this fiasco,,,THERE ARE MANY!! What I'm talking about is Jews with the influence of high office ,of which we have too many! In no other group does the idiotic condition of "dual-citizenship" present such a problem. UNceasing propaganda, touting a phony "special relationship" and an"unbreakable bond", neither of which has ever been subjected to a popular vote but go a long way towards getting the public to look favorably on whatever Israel's desire of the moment might be. Has any other nation, including our oldest ally, got this annual donation of billions of our dollars? It's almost like its written in our Constitution! Shall I go on---?

---and you can include the 'orthodox" in its entirety, but what effect do any of them 'combined' have on anything?,,,and more to the point, does any of this negate my claims that Jews have a "way, way' outsized influence on our government in relation to their numbers,(about 2% of the population) which doesn't exactly go along with the principles of democracy does it?
