I enjoy your writing on CounterPunch (which I write for occasionally), and I have told Jeffrey Saint Clair, that my satirical humor is partly based on his and yours. I am really glad that you were able to go out to the streets and protest. I am 71 years old, and disabled, so my protesting now is writing, progressive, political, and environmental articles for many publications, contributing to CounterPunch and Pacifica Radio (KPFA in northern California, where I live), and speaking on KPFA and George Galloway’s MOATS international program from London. I self-initiated my first political action when I was 14.

With tRump and Israhell bombing the hell out of Iran, with lies and no provocation, it is incumbent upon us to do everything we can to protest. I have written to my three senators and representative here in California, as well as emails to seven senators who might be swing votes to stop this Big Bamboozling Budget Bomb - and have sent the information on text messages to almost all my friends (I didn’t know that a couple of my friends for over 20 years were actually political at all until they came out for Trump in 2016, and I found out that they have been voting Repugnican for decades. Not that I like the Demoncrats. I am a member of the Green Party, and have not voted Democratic since before Ralph Nader first ran for president. I and my other teenage friends went from Orange County where I grew up to UCLA in the 1960s to see and hear the great Ralph Nader speak. I was in jail at Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant with nearly 1900 others in August 1981. At the time that I and my left wing environmental affinity group tore up the tracks at the Concord Naval Weapons Station to prevent or delay shipments of arms going to death squads in Central America, I met the great late Daniel Ellsberg and he became my political mentor for some years. My other main mentor was my father, who was a member of the American Communist Party in the 1930s, and enlisted to fight Hitler in early 1942.
I am a Jewish anti-Zionist. I know that Binyamin Netanyahu has manipulated corrupt American politicians into most of the wars since WWII. I am currently writing a 3-part series, Soludarity Against the New US Regime, each one about 1250 words long, as a regular columnist for years in the Sonoma County Peace Press @ pjcsoco.org-peacepress.

Yet it's a stupid question to ask Leavitt Trump's position on protests . I ended up deathly sick and am still in bed. Didn't even see the parade. Heard it was lame. I wanted to participate. Thanks for your work Paul.
