you did it again Paul. You never cease to amaze. This is the 3rd time in the past year that I have to say this is one of the best of Paul Street on the beat.

What's astounding to me is that more can't see as clearly as he does!!! Are we all blind? Ignorant??/,,or just simply indifferent? Revolution is the solution! Voting for either of two money-drenched, corrupted parties has never and will never accomplish a damn thing!

Thanks for that analysis of George Orwell by Alex Carey, and the whole rest of your post.

very welcome. Chomsky and Herman used to tell audiences that Carey was the source for their manufacturing consent thesis on US and Western media.

Fantastic read. You have to understand that the United States has all but reached critical mass and is dragging Europe down with it.

OK so let us assume a revolution comes to the fore. Who are the bad guys and who are the good guys in this revolution: Your neighbor, the local cops, the Nat'l Guard. Local state government officials, our congress persons, the military. Who be the good who be the bad who be the ugly.

In revolution there are just tormented people (as in wage slaves) with little to lose, shaking off their chains while the elites, once they have completely degraded the money system, turn utterly violent over it. Community members, like in France and elsewhere in WWII, have to choose.

So maybe the revolution will happen in Brittan before here. Cause things are really hitting the fan across the pond. In Germany too.

Can't see it happening here 1st. Maybe in Los Angeles or some other major city awash in homelessness poverty and lacking a functioning social support system and jpbs that pay the rent. Surely not the burbs or the fly over small communities.

Where do you think the seed will germinate?
