The irony of a Jan. 6 nullification (Kamala's job) is profound. I'm similarly wondering which Supreme Court justice will break the law by swearing in an adjudicated insurrectionist- if nullification doesn't happen. And will those acts normalize more flaunting of laws- the ones that protect people from government and each other?

His second impeachment might qualify a little bit as adjudicated insurrectionist but Senate did not convict so not really.

I'm going off the Colorado court judgement that actually has stood to this day. That case was torpedoed on other grounds.

Guilty as fack of nepotism too.

I assume it would be smirking Chief Justice John Roberts.

My understanding is the Chief Justice swears in on 1-20 and the veep's '1-6 job is purely administrative but Congress can vote not to certify...many House Republicans and some Senate Republicans voted not to certify Biden on January 6, 2021.

"...have no such excuse..." Paul's words are simple, clear, accurate. This is not simply an indictment against Trump, it is a statement of the collective conscious of the US. It tears the veil down of the hypocritical belief that we are a nation built upon the equitable rule of just law. We are not. The United States of America as we were taught from our earliest years of school does not exist.

That last short paragraph really sums it up! Must unite all who can be united.

I see my previous comment generated a flurry of response. I’d first say; Let’s not cloud personality with situation, and also be vigilant of propaganda and psyops. Gather a good analysis of the Jan 2020 event from a variety of sources and sort it out. There has been a good deal of sorting going on these days by the MAHA, Rescue the Republic team, (many defectors from the establishment–namable and admirable political and media voices) and if all goes well there will soon be a great unveiling of events from the 60’s assassinations to 9/11 through Gaza Oct 7. I just read “Chile: The Other September 11” ed. Aguilera and Fredes. The comparison to today is uncanny; an insertion of a USA puppet regime in 2020 (Who was the real President again?), constant media manipulation and censorship acceleration, attempted hijackings of the justice system, continued ascendance of the corporatocracy with the rise and seizure by a new form of influence-technocracy. The shuffle to neutralize truth and revelation is relentlessly continuing. We are the watchers.

The sides have almost flipped, just like the middle east situation where victim has become perpetrator. So, no offense to the Allende family, but perhaps there is a situation here that they may be familiar with when viewed through a larger lens. Even Bonhoeffer is being hijacked by the antisemitism semantic. What would he say, I ask? There is no space to go further, but the two seemingly polar tracks of socialism and capitalism, if unbridled, eventually circle around and unite in totalitarianism. Remember Orwell’s conclusion to Animal Farm where the differences between pigs and men is imperceptible. Let’s all try and join in defining and fighting the common enemy.

And have a merry and hope filled Christmas. Peace on earth, good will to men.

Sorry Paul. I would take most of what you wrote and apply it to the last election and "real" insurrection of 2020. I see much more of Salvador Allende in Trump with the Rescue the Republic team, and expect the modern Pinochet/Kissinger global elite to sabotage the presidency from day one (like Chile 1973). The unfortunate factor in the mix is a cadre of Zionist strongmen. Let's just concentrate on incapacitating them. How does this sit with Marxism today?

Sorry, indeed! You liken Donald "Clear Out the Marxist Vermin" Trump to Salvador Allende? Probably the single most insane comment I've ever received, or close. I made up the term The Trumpenleft at first as kind of a joke. But there's tons of people demented enough to wear the label with pride. Madness. 😂

Trump's fascist Proud Boy marauders in DC in December 2020 wore shirts saying "Pinochet Did Nothing Wrong." They rightly saw Trump as in line with fascist coup politics ala Pinochet and other right-wing dictators. Trump has said he wants to clear Marxists, socialists, and communists and "the radical left" out of education and politics and maybe even out of the country (as if the radical left holds power in US higher ed and politics and society). ikening Trump to the socialist/Marxist Allende and his opponents to Pinochet is historical and political ass-backwardness on an epic scale!

Could he have meant Pinochet?

I could see an Operation Condor style confederacy of MAGA states closely cooperating for the purpose of mass deportation and terror against opposition, similar to what Pinochet’s Chile was in countries of S. America. Comparing Allende with Trump? Pure lunacy!

I don't understand why you would offer the comparison above J.C. Really J.C!

I'd like to know who those Zionist strongmen you refer to? I hope you understand that most Jewish people do not ascribe to the criminal right wing Zionists. There was a joke 10 or 15 years ago ending with a visitor to Israel said "excuse me" to an Israel, who responded with "what is the meaning of "excuse me"! I think that sums it up perfectly!

Thanks, Paul...same reaction re Allende...went back to be sure I read it correctly...

I doubt Salvador’s daughter, Isabelle, would see a vision of Trump in her father’s memory.

Hi Paul

Was hoping to get another read on your thoughts before Xmas.

-14th amendment sec3-

bourgeois constitutional democracy has fallen asleep. If we could put fascist Republicans to sleep as well than maybe those outside the duopoly box could have a go of changing 'the empire'

Peace
