Oreo chimes in around 3:42-3:48 or thereabouts. Not in key. Back to voice training.

Back to Chicago? What a pity that Haskell Wexler is no longer with us. He'd have to turn up the heat from "Medium Cool," I'd guess, but, who knows? It could be Democracy's Crowning Glory. And I could be having an LSD flashback. And on to Milwaukee, there's more to do! Paul, please include Oreo, whenever possible, in your commentaries; a rational voice is so seldom heard these days. Happy Independence Daze to you both.

Maybe it’s because I lived in metro-Chicago and Chicago all my life, but I never appreciated the song “Sweet Home, Chicago,” until hearing you play it for kicks, and not — I assume — primarily for tourists.

Yet I get a kick out of many geographic-based songs about places I’ve only visited or have never even seen.

You might enjoy the piano boogie work and lyrics of Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen on “Back to Tennessee” from Lost in the Ozone. “…gonna hijack one of them big jet planes, I’m going back to Tennessee…”

I was on Bourbon St in New Orleans and asked the band to play "The House ......." and your rendition in your post had me back in NO's. Thanks, nice to get away from the regular deplorable grist fed to us by a nondescript media. I love the picture of Orea with Chicago in the background.
