Reflections on the Fascist Führer Decision This Morning

I sat down with a fellow revolutionary communist in Chicago this afternoon to talk about what the Illegitimate and Corrupt High Fash Court did today. Here are some reflections based in part on that discussion. Please bear in mind that I do not have legal training so I’d be amazed if there aren’t technicalities I’ve glossed over and missed. That said, I stand by the overall orientation here: this is about modern day capitalist-era fascism and NOT “the divine right of kings.” This is a Reichstag Fire/Enabling Act-type decision. This is about the fading and failure of previously normative bourgeois democracy and rule of law. This is a key moment in the ongoing fascist-Amerikaner “march through the institutions.” This is huge and horrifying. As you can hear from the recording, my 33-pound pit-border collie mix Oreo has strong opinions on the matter too, as any good Marxist dog would.
