I refuse to listen to N P R - been that way for 35-years - if I may be clear -- FUCK NPR, and while I'm at it - FUCK PBS too. But thank you for going there, Paul - I'd need more than a coffee to listen to their brand of horseshit. Paul, I appreciate your work and have been following you over the years at CounterPunch. -- Jeffery St. Clair is a gem, especially his Friday offering that I must brace myself for, before reading. Be well amigo.

Paul Street, “A Company Newspaper: The Swift Arrow and Welfare Capitalism in Chicago’s Meatpacking Industry,” Mid-American: An Historical Review (Winter 1996), Volume 78, Number 1. Good lucking finding that. I summarize some key aspects of that article here: https://www.paulstreet.org/course-we-aint-equal-capitalism-climate-change-and-corporate-propaganda/

Well you gotta wade into the content to properly critique it --- hence all the mainstream media citations in Chomsky's work for example. I have a curious fascination with the workings of ruling class ideology right down to granular word choices. Back in my my days as an aspiring Marxist labor historian I read every issue of a welfare capitalist company newspaper between 1921 and 1945. I loved breaking that paper down. I'll see if I can find a link to the academic essay I did about that. I just snagged a free copy of Pelosi's new memoir "The Art of Power" in my building's laundry room. I'll probably read it, looking for how she justifies her and other US politicos' service to capitalism-imperialism.

I recall the journalist, Hari Shreenivasan, stating (I believe it was in regard to the Trump/Jan.6th attack) - "we look at all of this stuff, so you don't have to." He had a big smile on his face when he made the comment. I'm grateful for journalists like yourself, going to places that I don't have the time to explore - as if it were my job. Be safe out there PS.

My reference to PBS is to the News Hour specifically. They lie by omission while claiming to deliver the entire story = the story they are permitted to tell to maintain the status quo and their jobs.

This hits so many nails on the head that I figure you've invented a hydra-headed hammer!

"I turn capitalist-imperialist National “Public” Radio (N“P”R) on when I make coffee in the morning."

Paul, you may be a masochist.

Tell it like is! Only push-back I'd give is that it's very hierarchical and thus very much not anarchic.

The MSM, propagandists for the POWER, act like a 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse while the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse are galloping throughout this finite World already.

Yes and these apocalypses mutually multiply each other. It's not ecocide + global war + pandemicide + fascism + AI. It's ecocide x global war x pademicide x fascism x AI x mass consent/infantilizing media.

Yes Paul, all of that and more!

The big Oscar winner in 2023 was titled, 'EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE.' The title was prescient, and as it unfolds, too many people won't be able to deal with it and will pop, unfortunately for many others!

You might want to check this 12 minute video out in Jerry Alatalo's website:

https://onenessofhumanity.wordpress.com/2024/08/31/laura-aboli-the-transhumanism-end-game/

'Ms. Aboli clearly describes the existential decision humanity must make in this truly historic era: Whether or not to remain fully human – and, simultaneously, whether or not this generation passes along a fully human world to our children, grandchildren and future generations.'

Spiritually, I think it's Lucifer's goal, aka Angel of Light, to destroy Humanity to prove Satan's Superiority to Humans
