Further Reflections on Guns and Amerika

Oh, also part of the bribery of the slave states during the US ruling class Constitutional Convention: the three-fifths compromise (allowing slave states to count three-fifths of their total number of slaves towards their representation in the US House), and the Fugitive Slave Clause (requiring people in free states to return fleeing slaves to their slave state masters), and the slave trade compromise (prohibiting Congress from banning the importation of enslaved Africans until 1808). All of this plus what I talked about in this and my last video went into American history textbooks as examples of our Holy Founders’ “far-seeing capacity for principled compromise.”
