I think its very significant that whilst Trump won the popular vote, his vote actually dropped compared to 2020. However the Democrat vote dropped almost 20 percent. So the story of this election is not a massive swing to fascism but a collapse of the Democrat vote. However, this doesnt change the "facts on the ground" that the fascists have their grip over every arm of the US state and that the only path forward is through socialist revolution.

What I noticed after Reagan’s victory was that it appeared nursing homes near my tiny east Rogers Park closet of an apartment became a warehouse for younger patients that were previously in state facilities.

Anyway, I had zero emotional involvement in this election. It was as if it was the 1968 election with no Hubert Humphrey, just Richard “Kamala” Nixon vs. Donald “George Wallace” Trump.

But maybe that’s too insulting to the memories of Nixon and Wallace.

I think it's a pretty big deal. We are looking at Republi-fascist trifecta. Validation of what Refuse Fascism and RCP have been saying on numerous levels.
