Planned Parenthood was already excluded from getting Medicaid (or any federal money) for abortions, "thanks" to the Hyde Amendment going back decades (to the shame of the mainstream abortion rights movement that never fought it the way it should have). The Supreme Court ruled today that South Carolina can prohibit ANY Medicaid money going to Planned Parenthood, for any medical care, care for which other providers are almost certainly getting reimbursements from Medicaid. I haven't looked at the convoluted logic that the Supreme Court used to determine that that isn't obvious discrimination...

I don't know if you are aware of this, but I just found out about something that shows just how rapidly the Trump regime is turning this country into a fascist dystopia. Tom Homan is building a concentration camp on an old airstrip in the middle of the Everglades. It's going up fast because they will be housing the inmates in tents and dispensing with security fencing because the difficult terrain, alligators, and pythons will prevent people from escaping. He calls it Alligator Alcatraz and says it will be ready to accept 5,000 inmates by July 5. The ghouls in the Florida Republican Party are selling Alligator Alley t-shirts and hats.
