Thanks for this report, Paul. It has a special meaning for me because my mother, at the time a 13 year old, crossed the border from Piedras Negras, Mexico to Eagle Pass. Though she had the protection of dual citizenship, she revoked her Mexican citizenship upon entry. I am unable to free myself from the rage at the current situation there and in the world.

Trump wanted to tear down the metal detectors and Biden with SCOTUS backing wants to tear down the razor wire fencing. Maybe your revolution will be happening but not in the form you expected. What 28 states think Texas Governor is right on taking this stance against the Fed. Government. Maybe Civill war take 2 will shine light on where we go from here.

no idea what exact form it will take. I really haven't projected a full scenario in that regard - not even close to one, but am quite certain 2024-25 is a throwdown year. And I am quite certain that protest waves rise and fall and dissipate leaving little good in their wake and much bad in the absence of an actual explicit revolutionary movement determined and able to organize masses and aiming to take and wield state power to get us past a system that breeds at least four mutually renforcing and multiplying apocalyptic/dystopian horsemen: ecocide, potentially nuclear war, pandemicide, and fascism. I have anti-communist left friends who think that communism can breed dystopias. Dystopia? They can pick, mix and match all the dystopias currerntly being generated by capitalism-imperialism: The Iron Heel, 1984, Brave New World, The Sheep Look Up (Brenner), the Handmaids Tale, Rollerball, The Road, Water World , Player Piano, Fahrenheit 451 (my fave) and more!
I have two more parts/essays in defense of BA and the RCP USA and in them I believe you will behold some my trademark riffing,witticism and hallucinogenic word play on rich display!
Seems to me Roger Waters remains a sane and legitimate anti-establishment voice. Animals and The Wall were fairly blunt statements, but the words still pack a punch. He could definitely turn a phrase and get the most out of a few lines...
