It probably won't stick; this charge. His supporters and those many, many folks that are fed up with the deep state only get stronger and their members grow. The Dems should just forget about it. Don't give him any oxygen. Tell ya, Paul, we may see another 4 years of Trump.

He won't bomb other nations he'll bomb us with his tweets. I'll take tweets over bombs Paul.

4 more of Herr Trump or 4 or more of DeSantis are definite strong possiblities and the dismal dollar Dems are no small part of why. At that point we might as well all go Red Army Faction and go out bombing ourselves cuz that's stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye time. Dark laughter.

He'll bomb other countries. The bombs kept falling under Trump. https://www.counterpunch.org/2021/01/24/trumps-empire-reflections-on-the-changing-nature-of-u-s-militarism/

Ok...but he didn't start any wars. He just went along with the foreign policy that was present. WHY? simple: " when you're up to your neck in alligators it's hard to remember your initial objective was to drain the swamp". : He, for sure, was up to his neck in alligators all 4 years.

Well, I'm confused, Paul. Didn't Trump tell the Europeans to tow their weight militarily? And didn't he also want to abolish/downsize NATO? Also didn't he want to downsize our defense budget? All to just piss off the deep state AND the neocons. Of course with 50 tweets a day he said lot of BS so what he really thought passionately about

Dennis: in the fourth chapter, titled "The Anatomy of Fascism Denial," of my latest book This Happened Here: Amerikaners, Neoliberals, and the Trumping of America (Routledge, 2021), I go through and take down 18 idiotic narratives from the knuckle-dragging 94% white male Trumpenleft (surely one of the dumbest bunch of assholes to ever walk bi-pedally on the Earth). Here is my presentation and critique of Trumpenleft narrative #7. ...'+7. Identification of Trump as a fascist is invalidated by the (supposed) anti-imperialism of Trump. False. Murderous military U.S. imperialism remained very much alive and well under Donald Trump. Trump continued the heavily air-war-focused global militarism and giant military budgets of the second Obama administration while increasing the pace of lethal drone war, doubling down on the crucifixion of Yemen and Palestine, and terrorizing Iran and North Korea. Trump deployed a dangerous new tactical nuclear weapon and rolled back global nuclear weapons protections. Trump projected aggressive military belligerence, complaining at the start of his presidency that the U.S. needed to get back to “winning wars” and identifying himself throughout his presidency with a strong American military projecting overwhelming national power and greatness.'

I guarantee a significant war under Trump if he gets back in.... along with all Hell breaking loose domestically. My secret accelerationist side --- not my healthier tendency and thankfully far from my dominant one --- looks forward to a second Trump term cuz to me that would mean Burn, Baby, Burn.

Well, Paul. If it's Biden vs. Trump I suspect it's gonna be 4 years of Trump. Neither will get my vote. Will pick up your latest book and give it a read. Your narrative #7 reads like typical neocon rhetoric propagandized by the duopoly. Again. If it's brain dead Biden vs MAGA Trump we lose either way. You'll have plenty to write about while the world burns.

Thanks. Here I'll add that voting in any fashion (or boycotting) is in my view about 1/1000th of one's relevant politics. Without a mass and revolutionary social movement in the streets and public squares, the tactical considerations around voting tend to wash out.

Don't like the guy. Won't vote for him. But I don't think he'll buy into the neocon handbook. He's so unpredictable on issues folks feel passionately about. Don't think he's a Sino or Russaphobe. But a knowledge student of Political (science??) I'm not. Where is the science in polisci.

How many of our politicians could prosecuted for wrongful use of campaign funds?

Let me count the ways.

well, the smarter ones steer through the campaign finance laws so as to conduct the organized sell out and bribery in formally legal fashion. It's not clear that the Manhattan States Attormey can get Trump on campaign finance. They got Cohen on it and so I suppose a lot this comes down to whether the prosecution can sell that he did the deed on Trump's crime-boss orders.
