The genocide is such an obscenity that telling the people who are actively protesting it to lay off the Democratic National Convention hits a wrong note. The protests are the only thing having a positive effect although a small one so far. If Israel is still murdering Gazans in August how could there not be a protest at the convention? Maybe the fear of protests disrupting the convention will encourage Biden to change his policy and force Israel to agree to a ceasefire.
I vote in Massachusetts so voting for Jill Stein will indeed be pissing in the wind. Massachusetts is a very blue state; the Democrast chokehold is that tight. I did a thing in the talk about how I'll take (a) someone who does a tactical Biden vote but then returns to the real politics of building for revolution beneath and beyond the masters' election extravaganzas/cycle over (b) a "ballot fetishist" who gets hung up on how people vote under the US slaveowners' electoral regime.
