Kristi Noem, aka “Gestapo Barbie,” the vicious dog-killing sado-fascist that Mein Trumpf and his Republifascist Senate installed atop the Department of Homeland Security actually said this in response to Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass’s criticism of the Trump fascist regime’s military occupation and arch-nativist and openly racist ethnic cleansing campaign in Los Angeles: “And now she’s [Bass] holding press conferences, talking about the fact that people have the right to peacefully protest and that they’re a city of immigrants. Well, they’re not a city of immigrants, they’re a city of criminals…”

Burning Down the Lodge

The Mein Trumpf regime has so far essentially burned down 6000 acres of Grand Canyon National Park, including the once glorious Grand Canyon Lodge, by failing to make a remotely serious appropriate response to the Dragon Bravo Fire.

“We Share Your Batshit Weather-Tampering Concerns”

Meanwhile Mein Trumpf’s eco-cidal fossil-fascist freak of an Environmental Destruction Agency (formerly the Environmental Protection Agency) chief Lee Zeldin has released a video in which he says the EDA empathizes with the concerns of loony tunes conspiracy theorists over “weather-tampering” via “contrails” and geoengineering.

Of course, anyone with a hint of junior science knows, or ought to know, what has set our weather into new volatile territory: out of control carbon emissions resulting from the wildly excessive capitalist extraction and burning of fossil fuels. Its called the Greenhouse Effect.

Oz Speaks: Let Them Not Eat Cake

Dr. Mehmet Oz, the victim-blaming New Age nutritional fascist that Mein Trumpf and his Republifascist Senate put atop the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, went on the Fatherland (FOX) Business Channel to deny projections that 17 million people will lose health coverage under Trump’s big fascist budget bill. Oz informed viewers that the Trumpf regime is promoting healthier lifestyles and told Medicaid recipients facing the loss of insurance “don’t eat carrot cake…“Be vital, do the most you can do to really live up to the potential, you’re God-given potential, to live a full and healthy life. And you know, don’t eat carrot cake.”

“One of the Worst Real Estate Deals Ever Made”

The top fascist freak himself, Donald Trump, the man Noam Chomsky once rightly called “the most dangerous criminal in human history,” actually said this yesterday amidst the ongoing US backed genocide being committed in Gaza by Israel: "The Gaza strip. I call it the Gaza strip. One of the worst real estate deals ever made. They gave up the oceanfront property. One of the worst deals ever made."

What a sick and deranged man.

Speaking of which, here is how Trump’s open fascist pig of a Border Czar, Tom Homan, responded to a young “utra-MAGA” heckler as the heckler was removed from a right-wing “Student Action Summit” in Tampa, Florida:

“This guy ain’t got the balls to be an ICE officer….This guy lives in his mother’s basement. The only that surprise me is he don’t have purple hair and a nose ring….get out of here, ya loser. And if you’re such a bad ass meet me offstage in 13 minutes and 50 seconds. I guarantee you he sits down to pee. I guarantee…Sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals…”

Incredible: the raging 14-year-old bully beneath the facade of a grown man. Homan has a super heavy federal fascist position and can't control himself when faced with a 20-something heckler from his own fascist party?

A Queer Claim in Support of Fascist Impoundment

In defense of the Trump fascist regime’s unconstitutional impoundment of Congressionally allocated money for the Department of Education – whose dismantlement Trump’s fascist Supreme Court has just approved – a spokesperson for the fascist White House Office of Management and Budget claimed that federal education money is being “grossly misused to subsidize a radical left-wing agenda” by paying a for a seminar on “queer resistance in the arts.”

The spokesman did not explain how some remote and small academic gathering on gay art pays for efforts to overthrow the capitalist system and introduce collective ownership of the means of production -- long overdue developments in this writer’s opinion.

“Worship is Warfare”

Trump’s open Christian white nationalist and neofascist Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth took up a pew seat two days ago at the downtown Washington DC launch of a far-right Christian nationalist church whose Idaho leader uses viciously anti‑LGBTQ language and sickeningly minimizes the horrors of American Black chattel slavery. As Alternet reports:

“Pastor Jared Longshore, …standing beneath an American flag hung upside-down, declared, ‘We understand that worship is warfare’…Murmurs of excitement reportedly rippled through the crowd when Hegseth arrived; upon exiting, he was swarmed by admirers. The defense secretary’s presence added symbolic weight to the service, signaling that national defense and Christian nationalism, at least in Longshore’s framing, share spiritual underpinnings.”

A Curious Omission

The right-wing meltdown over the Trump Justice Departments Jeffrey Epstein erasure doesn't include reasonable suspicion that Dirty Orange Lech is on the pedophilic Epstein List. Let me remind readers of something Donald “Grab them by the Pussy” Trump said about his very good friend Jeffrey Epstein 23 years ago: “Jeff is a fun and terrific guy…It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."

By the way, this, by Robert Reich, is good on some differences between mere authoritarianism and full-on fascism: “Is Donald Trump Really a Fascist?” Professor Reich leaves some key stuff out, but this is quite useful. It is important right now — well, it has been all along — to make distinctions between mere authoritarianism and fascism. Senator Sanders' head in the sand-ness on this distinction has been highly discrediting in my view.
