As some of my readers know, I am on the Editorial Board of Refuse Fascism, which runs an extraordinary top-shelf weekly podcast hosted by the remarkable Samatha Goldman. I’m in this 2023 RF podcast review here with a bunch of other smart (LOL) and smarter people. I probably don’t have to tell you that the Amerikaner fascist menace is looming very large in 2024-25.

No, this is not a campaign ad for Weimar/Genocide/Ecocide/Warmonger Joe Biden, who is drenched in the blood of Palestinians, Ukrainians, and Russians. And no, me refusing to cower under the stenchful umbrella of Biden and the capitalist-imperialist Dems does not make me Trumpenleft/third period KPD.

My semi-clever thought for the day:

Here is a useful translation for the meaning of Trump and Trumpism’s oft-used phrase “America First,” the name of a US fascist movement in the late 1930s: crush all internal opposition and then invade the American nation of Mexico first, before gathering forces to wage war farther away and wherever Herr Trump says.  Trumpenlefties who fantasize that Trump is an anti-imperial isolationist are ignorant buffoons.
