You don’t debate arch-criminal fascists, you lock them up.
Well, that’s what a decent society would do, anyway — not the United States of America, “the beacon to the world of the way life should be” (Kay Bailey Hutchinson).
The Weimar Dems have kept “the most dangerous criminal in human history” (Noam Chomsky’s interesting description of Trump in January of 2020) out and about, fancy free to further fulminate for the fascization of the Fatherland.

See and hear Trump’s recent fascist speech to the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police here. In this maniacal and rambling oration, Trump says that the "Kamala Harris and the communist left have unleashed a brutal plague of bloodshed, crime, chaos, misery and death upon our land." He absurdly refers to Harris as "Comrade Kamala,” calls her “the original Marxist prosecutor,” and identfies her with what he calls “Marxist defund the police lunacy.”
Trump tells cops to participate in the fascistic, fear-inducing physical intimidation of voters. That’s what the following statement to North Carolina police officers amounts to:
“And I hope you as the greatest people, just as great as there is anybody in our country, I hope you watch for voter fraud. So it starts early. It starts in a week, but I hope you can watch and you’re all over the place. Watch for the voter fraud because we win. Without voter fraud, we win so easily. Hopefully, we’re going to win anyway, but we want to keep it down. You can keep it down just by watching because believe it or not, they’re afraid of that badge. They’re afraid of you people. They’re afraid of that. More than anything else they’re afraid. So I hope you can watch.”
Here is the not-so leftmost major capitalist party candidate Killer Kopmala Harris’s statement to young people protesting her and Joe Biden’s sickening support of genocidal ethnic cleansing in Gaza: “if you want Trump to win, then say that. Otherwise, I’m speaking” — a chillling comment followed by a huge roar of applause and chanting from her deluded supporters.
The ruling class Democrats have long been invested in the ruling class Republi-fascist Trump as the ultimate Greater Evil player in their Lesser Evilist “good cop, bad cop” game, which is being played in service to the underlying eco-exterminist capitalist-imperialist system.
How reckless. The latest New York Times-Sienna poll has Trump and Harris tied in the national popular vote. Under the right-tilted slaveowners’ Electoral College, such a tie is a clear Trump win.
Are people ready to move beyond the right-tilted US “bourgeois electoral bullshit” (Bob Avakian’s “BEB”) to bring down a US government in the streets, public squares, schools, offices, factories and other workplaces next year? No? Well, it's time to start preparing. And just to be clear, the great mass movement we need to collapse the likely coming Republi-Nazi Trump-Vance regime cannot and should not be about putting the dismal Dems back in the White House. It's needs to be about a new and revolutionary politics that looks honestly and fiercely at the whole damn system that put us in this horrific mess in the first palce -- and that means, among other things, no more kissing of the Weimar Democratic Party's nasty "inauthentic opposition" ass, no more childish cowering under the less fascist political wing of the American capitalist-imperialist bird of prey. The Weimar (soon to be Vichy?) Dems are fundamentally central to this mess on numerous levels.
Advocating an actual revolution no doubt sounds crazy to some of my readers and listeners and friends. I get that but there’s something even crazier: not advocating an actual revolution and staying with and under a system that is literally cancelling all prospects for a decent future. The natural and social science are clear on this in intersecting ways.
