With Refuse Fascism (RF) Podcaster Samantha Goldman and the prolific left political scientist Dr. Anthony DiMaggio on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

A little amusing backdrop, dear Substack readers/listeners: I’m in day four of a killer flu (symptoms mitigated for a bit by two Advils) and DiMaggio is fighting through pain-killers a couple days out from knee surgery when this discussion goes down. I think we did pretty good considering all that and of course much of the podcast’s success is due to the brilliant and indefatigable Sam Goldman. I highly recommend the RF podcast, which goes up every Sunday - 128 so far including discussions with a remarkable number and range of sharp liberal, left, and radical intellectuals and activists. It is top-drawer, first rate, the bees’ knees, and really cool. I’d say “enjoy,” but that does not seem to be the right word for this episode given the grave situation were are discussing.
