Well, DT and newestbeginning, there's a lot of demand for audio. Busy people listen to it while driving, walking, housecleaning, getting surgeries and the like. I really enjoyed doing a spoken talk on bad left slogans last week. It was so much more free flowing to just have some notes and talk. I listened to it and this interview and concluded that I do in fact have a partial Chicago accent -- something I have been denying.
You know, for what it's worth, it is disheartening to see the trend to podcast type work. In the dismal age of social media and information bombardment from all directions, there is no better way to have what you have to say get lost in the ether. I know they are "popular", but for me, they are a waste of time and a loss of your great work and "voice" in the body politic. Be well.
