Aspects of How the Fascist Trump's Popular Vote Victory Reflects the Slave-owners' Minority Rule Constitution

7
1

A rather tame but perhaps interesting talk on the presidential popular vote, plutocratic campaign finance, the awfulness of the Democratic Party, the US Founders, slavery, and the archaic US Constitution.

Please note: I misspoke (at 11:32) when I said that the high Court’s 1976 Buckley-Valeo decision disallowed contribution limits “except in connection with public campaign financing.” I meant to say that the decision ruled that limits on total election expenditures were unconstitutional (except in connection with the use of public campaign financing).

I shouldn’t have mentioned “lobbying” (around 9:50).

I could do the video all over again or I can just note the mistakes here; I choose the latter.

Meanwhile, in other news, the orange-brushed fascist beast is showing his commitment to the full fascisation of the USA with some vicious Cabinet picks: a white supremacist and male chauvinist FOX News hack (Pete Hegseth) to head the US Department of Defense, the strange Hindu nationalist and onetime religious cultist Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence, the sinister accused pedophile and fascist provocateur Matt Gaetz as Attorney General, and the anti-science/anti-vax lunatic Robert F Kennedy, Jr. as the head of Health and Human Services. The Brute-Elect is pressuring the majority Republi-fascist US Senate to surrender its longstanding constitutional confirmation power over Cabinet appointments.

Holy shit.
